About Us

Our Story

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, I am grateful for my humble beginnings. I am incredibly proud of all I’ve accomplished and fulfilling my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. My love for business began with an internship in the legal department at the McGraw Hill Companies where I worked as a teenager. What had been a summer internship turned into a full-time position when I asked management to stay on during my last year of high school and breaks during freshman year of college. “We’ve never done that” was the response I received. Even at 17 years old, I wasn’t afraid to think big and outside the box and go after what I wanted. Not only did they say yes because of my hard work that past summer, but I also received a raise. I then learned how to balance a full load of classes while working full time at a fortune 500 company. I love to tell that story because it shows where my professionalism, drive and ambition began. That bold move has shaped and pushed me all my life.

That is how it all started. So, what brought me here? After going away to Skidmore College, I've never stopped working. After my internship turned full-time job at McGraw-Hill, I’ve worked in senior management roles across small, mid-size and global organizations. My love for business grew into a passion for business operations. Another fun fact that I enjoy sharing is how I worked my way up in the business world. Not only have a I worked in most of the roles I’ve managed, but it speaks to how I can relate to people on all levels of an organization – not just as an employee, but as a person. Receptionist, Office Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Director of Administration, Director of Operations, VP of Mail and Distribution Services were some of my titles/roles. Moreover, my volunteer position as Team Leader at a Bronx shelter for over 10 years also shaped who I am today and shows how helping others is an intrinsic part of me.

What do all of those titles mean? I became obsessed with business operations – dissecting operational inefficiencies, evaluating and improving processes and implementing better business solutions. I’ve held leadership, client facing roles at some of the most prestigious companies in the world including UNICEF and BNY Mellon. I use my extensive experience in the corporate, educational and nonprofit sectors to help emerging business leaders improve and grow their businesses.

To sum it all up - I’ve combined my passion for helping people with my passion for improving the day-to-day functions of a business. Simply put, I love helping people improve their business. I help build a solid foundation for organizations that keeps the doors open and the money coming in. I strive to empower and elevate – you and your business. I take all that I’ve learned: the good, the bad and the ugly and use all of my lessons to help others succeed.
